James Byrne is editor of The Wolf, a leading poetry magazine. He co-founded New Blood, an event featuring young poets in London.  His first book, Passages of Time, was published by Flipped Eye in 2003, and his second collection, Blood/Sugar, appeared from Arc in 2009, followed by White Coins in 2015. He is co-editor, with Clare Pollard, of the anthology Voice Recognition: 21 poets for the 21st century (Bloodaxe Books, 2009), and with ko ko thett of Bones Will Crow: 15 Contemporary Burmese Poets (Arc, 2012).
