Then Come Back Shortlisted for Translation Prize
The American poet and translator Forrest Gander’s translation from the Spanish of Then Come Back: The Lost Neruda Poems has been shortlisted for the Oxford-Weidenfeld Translation Prize 2018.
The winner will be announced at a prizegiving dinner at St Anne’s College, Oxford on Saturday 9th June 2018, on Oxford Translation Day. The prize, worth £1000, is for literary translations into English from any living European language. Then Come Back is one of 8 titles on the shortlist. Full details here.
