© Applying for COPYRIGHT PERMISSION
Bloodaxe Books controls and asserts intellectual property
rights for all poets it publishes according to © International
Copyright Law (Berne Convention 1886; UCC, 1952; Geneva, 1996).
This establishes the right of the author to be recognised as the
creator of the work, prevents derogatory changes to the work,
and supports their economic right to receive fair reward for use
of that work by others.
Our standard minimum fee for use of a poem (1-10 lines), as set
by The Society of Authors 2005 is £60, and this rises line
by line, and also depending on the range of distribution territory.
However, this is negotiable for low print runs, educational purposes
and good causes.
