Ella Duffy's first book-length collection, Glimmer & Ground, is published by Bloodaxe Books in 2027. She is the author of three poetry pamphlets: New Hunger (Smith|Doorstop, 2020), Rootstalk (Hazel Press, 2020) and Greencombe (Hazel Press, 2024), and co-author with Adam Horovitz of Rock Paper Scissors (Dialect Press, 2026), a Poetry Book Society Pamphlet Choice. Her work has appeared in The Poetry Review, The London Magazine, The Rialto, Ambit and Poetry Ireland Review, among others. She has twice been shortlisted for The Bridport Prize for Poetry and was the winner of The Live Canon International Poetry Competition 2019. Ella is the editor of the botanical poetry anthology, Seeds & Roots (Hazel Press, 2020), and has been a guest editor for Butcher’s Dog and Magma.
